To ensure the microclimatic stability of the panel painting Madonna and Child with Saints, Angels, and Federico da Montefeltro by Piero della Francesca, owned by the Pinacoteca di Brera, Arterìa Safe Tech designed and built a conservation-grade display case.

This airtight case, featuring a metal frame and structure with a front panel made of laminated museum glass, maintains a constant internal microclimate through the use of pre-conditioned passive humidity stabilizers. Special attention was given during the design phase to minimize the visual impact of the case by incorporating the pre-existing frame.

As a result, the final dimensions of the structure remained unchanged in height and width, with only a 100 mm increase in total depth to accommodate the glass and rear metal protection.
